Swan Song Records Launch Party
May 10, 1974
Led Zeppelin and Atlantic Records debuted their joint label, Swan Song Records, via a series of launch parties in Los Angeles, New York and London in May of 1974.
Below are a few photos from the party at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles on May 10. Again, as with the general focus of this website, we concentrate less on the artists and more on people within the industry (and allied industries). The majority of these photos were shot by photographers Neil Zlozower and Todd Gray.
Attendees as this particular party, amidst the glorious white swans at the Hotel Bel Air, included such people as Groucho Marx, David Geffen, Lloyd Bridges, Micky Dolentz, Billy Preston, Dr. John, Michelle Phillips and, of course, the members of Zeppelin and also Bad Company.
