The Black Oak Arkansas Roller Skating Party

In tandem with Gibson & Stromberg, we threw an amazing party at the Hollywood Roller Rink in honor of Black Oak Arkansas, at that time one of Atlantic's biggest (and newest) groups.  In addition to the media, we had trendsters (what we called hipsters in those days) from throughout the recording and movie industries in attendance...all on roller skates.  Everyone from Phil Spector to Wolfman Jack to The Real Don Steele to Roller Derby stars and to topless dancer roller skaters.
